I didn't qtank the golden dojo babies only because I have been watching them in the store since they got them so I know they are okay. Anyway its just like you all said the "old timer" as Starsplitter7 called him. Is ALL over the tank with the babies after him solo and in grps and when they tire out he still going. So cute I'm so happy he has play mates now...even though they are a quarter his size lol.

I am so happy you got your Dojo buddies. You need to get some pictures.

I have several fish I was told were solos. So far from the truth. Dojos and Kuhlies are often sold as solo fish.

I am hunting for friends for my Sid right now.

When I bought my dojos they told me they could be alone or in groups. I picked up one and was already walking away when I suddenly had the feeling I should get another. I'm glad I did becaue they are together all the time. They also didn't tell me dojos are a cold water fish. Now I have a bunch of warm water fish before I could find this out. I guess it just goes to show that retailers don't always know best.

I'm sure your old timer will show you how playful he can really be, now that you have some friends for him.

OMG I know I'm about to sound like such a chick right now...mainly cause I am...but anyway. Seeing my Old guy swimming and playing all over the tank really brought a tear to my eye. I have NEVER seen him so playful and happy and active. He and the babies were moving so fast around each other they were bumping into each other. It was really the cutest thing ever. I mean even his eating is more aggressive but in a good way. I am so happy I joined LOL and you guys set me straight on how to make my loaches happy.
