Two months have passed now and its time for some more pics. Everything has gone fine with no casualties, only shrimp and MTS have been eaten. And next week I'll be getting two more G. flavatras (at last). One Rosy loach thinks its a Pseudomugil, hangs out with the wrong crowd so to say and is the only Rosy who eats from the surface.

damn picasa web album, let try it this way: http://picasaweb.google.com/janma79/New ... directlink (hope it works)

and HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!

Very beautiful tank! Your Java fern and other plants are really growing well and look great. Thanks for posting.

Love the pseudomugil furcatus. What is the yellow and black striped fish in the 6th pic in the first pictures ? It's the same as the 3rd pic in the picasa album.
Beautiful tank.

Gorgeous Janne. I bet the loaches love it!
Why does my aquarium always seem too small?

Beautiful Work! I love the look of the sand with the rocks. It really makes the plants stand out. Did you glue the rocks together to form a cave? I always wanted to try to do that. The fish look very healthy, and I'm sure they're happy in their new home!

Keith, my plan was to only have Java fern/moss in the tank. But there is Anubias too and the plant in the middle that is unknown to me. The fern is easy to maintain and grows anywhere.

Carol, it is a Panda garra, Garra flavatra.

soul-hugger, no glue. Only tried to put them as steady as possible.

Great setup! Where did you obtain the aquarock?

Made some changes today, added a huge root and removed plants. Also added some Java fern "Windelöv" to it. I've come to the conclusion that if the name of a plant doesn't start with Java, it isn't for me. The root still floats so thats why there is a rock on it.
