Those are handsome fish!
What sort of set up are they in? Tank mates?
38 tanks, 2 ponds over 4000 liters of water to keep clean and fresh.

Happy fish keeping!

They are in a 7ft - 250 gallon tank with 16 clown loaches, histrionica's, Kubotai's and a few Schistura's. As well as those there are big barbs and rasboras.

Yeah definitely the longer nose and at certain times the big fleshy lips do seem to swell and are visibly bigger than normal.

Awesome Emperors,

I have a group of about 6 that look just like that. Except for one I suspect is an alpha female that is bright golden with jet black markings. Will try to get some photos up this weekend.

One day I shall own a nice shoal of these.. I swear it. Lovely fish.
So many species of fish yet so little time, space and money to keep them all...
