Hidden Yasuhikotakia lecontei

Post by streptococci » Fri Feb 27, 2009 7:40 am

I bought 2 Yasuhikotakia lecontei about a year and a half ago. I have seen them 3 times - namely:
1 - The day I bought them
2 - The day I moved them to a bigger tank at my office (about 10 months ago)
3 - Today - I moved the tank into a different office and had to empty it first.

Has anyone had similar experiences?

Safety in Numbers mate, add more to see more. :D

I keep 12 Yasuhikotakia lecontei and always see at least 5-6 out and about at any one time.

Thanks Graeme,

I Haven't seen them since at pet store - they only had a few when I bought them. They do however share the tank with 2 Yasuhikotakia modesta, 5 Yasuhikotakia morleti and 4 Tiger Loaches

Yeah i understand. :? My only advice is to keep a look out for more and look carefully into tanks with Yasuhikotakia modesta in them. You may find some contaminants in there.
