Clown splotchiness?

Post by ensign_lee » Wed Apr 01, 2009 8:36 pm

I just noticed that all my clowns seem to be well...splotchy? They've got little bits on their dorsal fins (and other fins) that are darker than the rest of them. Some of them even have little spots on their bodies that look the same way.

They all look "grayed out", except for these splotchy areas.

This has never happened before; is this something I should worry about?

Thanks for the help y'all.

When I see something like this I immediately start water testing, and probably a water change.

Do you have the most recent test results?
Ammonia, Nitrite, Nitrate, GH, KH, pH and any other test you have?
Are any of these changed from the way the tests usually come out?

Has anything changed in the tank such as new fish, different food or anything?
38 tanks, 2 ponds over 4000 liters of water to keep clean and fresh.

Happy fish keeping!
