Snub nosed hitrionica

Post by KhuliKhilla » Sun Oct 07, 2007 3:27 pm

after the August LOL meet, i reserved a weird looking histie with snub nose and strange patterning. im still not too sure its a pure histie or if it has some kubotai in there... or something else.

anyway, some pics have been taken with great difficulty by Dave :)

it tends to spend it time split between two spots, one is on top of a pile of bogwood looking at across the room...

the other favourite place i to swim up to the external filter inlet and get herself stuck to it. she will stay like this for hours at a time.

She's the worst kind of tease when it comes to taking photographs. She'll sit there in plain view, happy as pie, until you get the camera. Then she's nowhere to be seen! I shall endeavour to get more/better pics.

Thought I'd have a crack at a couple of update shots. They're as appallingly bad as ever. Anyway, you can just about make out the development in pattern.

And while I was there, the queen arabesque was being particularly showy. She actually barges the loaches out of the way to get at food. Nothing shy about this one!
