hows this for an unusually marked striata.

got this from my mate Neils, it looks like tiger markings on one side and on the other something an abstract painter would do.

That is a beautifully marked fish!
Now, if they would breed true...
38 tanks, 2 ponds over 4000 liters of water to keep clean and fresh.

Very unique - and very good looker Mick! Jealous once again :x

I've only been on this forum for a month - Is this Normal Loaching for you Brits, or are you guys on a roll? I've never seen anything like this and I'm not in a small town here. You guys just keep rolling out new photo's of your new fish that I'll never find available and lot's of them too, and they all look great.

Most envious of your availability!

yup Keith, we have some very good shops where the owners/managers listen to us when we want a certain species and they try their hardest to get them.
but don't worry we have loads of numpty shops all over the country that supply the same crap week in week out. :lol:

Is this premium season for getting Botia, or is it year round? I've seen a lot of fish heading home with you LOL guys this month?

really it's all year round, large clowns seem to only come in at a certain time of the year but small ones are everywhere,
i've put a request to my mate to see if he can get a shipment of longidorsalis, he'll ask his supplier wether it's possible to get them in numbers and it goes from there.
