different species

Post by dkbediako » Tue Oct 06, 2009 10:01 pm

Hi everyone,

I just registered!
I have got two yoyos and they seem to be doing really well. One in particular is very exciting to watch and has quite a personality. The other is more shy and hides most of the time...
Anyway, I've heard that it's better to keep a minimum of three, so I was hoping to get another one. I'd like to get another species of loach (maybe a zebra or angelicus). Is this ok, or should I stick with yoyo. I guess I'm wondering whether they'll all get along and be happy just the same...

Thanks!

You should stick with a Yo Yo. The new loach of another species would not be part of the social dynamics. They might hang out, eat together, and bicker a little bit, but it is not the same as their own kind.

Good thing about asking before buying a new loach. Good luck
