Hi fredos,

I´m afraid this is a very small tank for loaches because they don´t like to be alone.
You will find that most loaches prefer to be in groups of 5+. Even the smallest loach, the dwarf loach (Yasuhikotakia sidthimunki) I would aim for a 100 liter tank, where you could have 5 or more of this beautifull fish.
My 450L Loaches tank
31 clown, 5 morleti, 2 sidthimunki

Maybe yunnanilus loaches or kuhli loaches, but why not upgrade to a bigger tank. Surely won't cost more and will reduce the probability of fish dying due to better stability of compounds like ammonia and stuff

Something as small as a Shistura or their relatives would work.
Can you get enough water movement in that tank? Most Loaches prefer more than average amount of water movement.
38 tanks, 2 ponds over 4000 liters of water to keep clean and fresh.

Happy fish keeping!
