Post by jhnlesch » Fri Jan 22, 2010 5:41 pm

i have a clown loach who is sick he has clamped fins and is breathing fast he tends to eat very little or nothing at all and is losing wieght i tested my water and the ph is 7.2 the nh3 is .25 ppm i went to a very popular fish store in my area ( uncle neds fish factory) and he told me it was worms and gave me some powder ( tin oxided called paracide-D) and told me to mix it with frozen food and feed it to the sick clown loach i finished the treatment and still has the same symptoms so i am asking for any help from anyone that may have ran in to this before the clown loach is very young and is only about 2.25 inches in length right now its in a tank with a little salt added to it and the temp up at around 80 degrees

Well I'm not sure where you're based but I would think an internet search would turn it up. Have you tried looking for levacin or the like yet. If you're stateside I get the impression it's easier to obtain
