Rostrata in driftwood

Post by Katy » Sun Jan 24, 2010 7:10 pm

My beloved (Mr. Cloudhands) went to the not-so-local (hour away) fish store yesterday, and in addition to a few other fishies, he brought home the last rostrata they had. Trouble was, he was already there well past closing with them trying to catch the fish he wanted, and the rostrata wedged itself into the driftwood in the tank and wouldn't come out.

So he bought the driftwood.

Also got a couple more Kuhlis "neon pink kuhlis" -- we think they are anguilaris. At any rate, they seem to be the same as the little pangios we got before. They seem quite happy in the q-tank, and I think all of them will be ahppier when they discover their new homes have playmates :)

lol love to see the bag the rostrata and driftwood came in. Has he got himself out of the wood yet or still in it?

Yeah, he came out in the bag, then didn't like the acclimation container and jumped onto the kitchen table and from there to the floor, but he did make it into the q-tank, spent the first day mostly hiding behind some slate, but is coming out now, especially at meal time (even if lonely, he's still a loach!)
