It has been there for about a month. I think its growing!! Does anyone know what it is!? Please help!

Disease on my angel?

I see 2 issues. The sores on the side, and the gills.
Some fish are getting too closely inbred and the gill covers are smaller, so the gills are exposed, but this could also be a disease.
There is a bacterial disease and the common name is Hole in the Side (not Hole in the Head) caused by the bacteria Aeremonas. It is more common in pond, Koi, Golds and similar fish. The same sures that work for them will work for Angels.
I am concerned that you say it has been there longer, though. Could it be an injury, such as a minor burn by staying too close to the heater? Something rough in the tank?
Angels fight. This does not look like an injury from a fight, but maybe. Are there other Cichlids, especially Angels with this one?
In case it is Aeremonas, or other skin infection, and to discourage bacteria from infecting it if it is a wound I would add antibiotics. If the fish is still eating, antibiotic food would be really good.
Bacterial infections are contagious, but all the fish have already been exposed. If they are fighting it off, and not showing symptoms you may not want to treat the main tank with antibiotics (especially if it is a large tank, and you are treating the water) so move this fish to a quarantine tank. You could treat the whole tank with antibiotic food.
A few extra water changes are good, too. Some disease bacteria can hang out in organic matter and some medications can latch onto organic matter, missing the disease organisms. So, emphasize gravel vacs.
