Spawing clowns?!?!

Post by Pywakyt » Mon Aug 30, 2010 11:09 am

How do I know if my clowns are doing a sexy a dance and spawning or just playing or sick. After a recent water change I saw 2 of my 4 clowns dancing all over the tank now I notice one of them kind of laying in the grass by herself and kind of pale. The paleness started a few days ago but every day I still see her playing with the other 3 when they come out of there tree stump.

How much of a water change did you do? How much vacuuming? What are your Ammonia, Nitrite and Nitrate readings?

To me it sound slike your fish really liked the water change, but it sounds like maybe there was a crash afterwards.

I'll test the water tomorow and fill you all in on the levels. As for the water change I did a 25% water change with the vacume. I have done 1 25% water change a week for the past 4 weeks ever since someone told me water changes are like flushing the toilet ><. And I cleaned the canister filter last week.

Hopefully there's no problem. Flushing the toilet is my favorite analogy too. :)
