Reclassification of loach names

I was having a look a post on another site today that listed the new names for loaches and realised that Botia (probably isn't now

) Rostrata is missing, is it still Botia or has it changed.

If I remember correctly, I think Kottelat is of the opinion B. rostrata is a synonym of B. almorhae. But I don't have the paper to hand, it's still on my old computer.

So in that case shouldnt B. kubotai be classed as a synonym of B. almorhae as well.

I admit that there are that many patterns of B. almorhae some patterns do resemble B. rostrata but the B. kubotai I have was almost identical markings wise when I got it to the B. rostrata that I got with it, but now the markings have changed it is definately B. kubotai.
