Hillstream Biotope - Loaches and..?

Hello, this is my first topic. I am from Poland, so I am really sorry if my English won't be correct. More than that, I'll be using metric system, because it is easy and logical and deal with it Please.

I am in process of thinking about getting myself a hillstream biotope tank. The primary idea is to make a 35x25x120cm long tank with two 950l/h (or stronger) heads at one end, and three 7x7x20cm sponges at the other end. It creates enough sucktion to fill the 90 l tank 21 times.

Now to te question: If I was to attempt to have hillstream loaches with white clouds Tanichthys albonubes, then what is the maximal current that they both would feel well with? I could get two 1400l/h (31.1x90l/h in total) heads and make a DIY dispertion system, but would it be comfortable for white clouds?

White clouds are usually what people have aswell as hillstream loaches. I have saw people use various barbs also. Can't remember which ones, may have been gold barbs?

White Cloud Minnows are a good choice.
I had them in a tank with 20 times the volume per hour.

I am not sure that any of the Barbs come from that fast a water flow. Some Danios would probably work. Not the long finned varieties, though.

I had some Gobies and some Hummingbird or Darter Tetras in the hillstream tank.

The Tetras are native to South America or Africa, there are several species. They are not schooling like most Tetras. They tend to hang out at the bottom like Gobies. Characidium and other species.

Choprae, kyathit, and roseus danios, to name a few, work well as do the chela or Indian hatchefish species. Chela dadiburjori in particular is good. I think its been reclassified in another genus now, but it is sold as Orange Chela.
