Sewellia stand-off

Post by Martin Thoene » Sat Nov 04, 2006 3:49 pm

Caught these two females having a dust-up today. They were doing a serious "topping" fight until I appeared with the camera. Then they just sat like this, fins spread, watching one another.

Just like two kids fighting. They stop when an adult comes into the room and act like nothing is going on, only to resume when the adult leaves.

Well......I don't know what's going on, but after doing a water-change yesterday, the activity level went up. The male and a female were having some kind of interaction. Some topping going on, mainly by the female on the male and they would keep on parting, swimming off somewhere and then getting into it again.

Martin has his fingers crossed that it means something 8)
