I have in my tank 2 botia kubotai and 2 almorhaes - all very young, maybe an inch and a half long at the max....
I introduced 2 Leporinus Fasciatus ( http://badmanstropicalfish.com/profiles/profile1.html )to the tank this weekend, and from everything that I can see, anytime they swim anywhere near those loaches, the loaches start following it as if it were one of them.
The follow both of them around the tank, even "Landing" on top of them when they are sitting at the bottom.
The funniest part is, the Leporinus don't seem to care! Almost like a mother just tolerating her children!
Very similar to my tiger barbs in the tank with my clowns!
My loaches think my Leporinus Fasciatus are one of them!

Just a word of caution regarding Leporinus. They can get a foot long and the individuals i have kept were agressive as hell. I did keep one species called Leporinus Frederichi<sp> that wasent so bad though. The ones i kept were real bad fin nippers and held their own with large Cichlids.
I've been keeping a very close on eye on them. They have been extremely peaceful.. I have read up on them - depending on which website you go to, you'll find two extremes, either extremely aggressive, or extremely peaceful.
I'll keep my eye on them! So far so good though!
