Some fresh Pseudogastromyzon cheni baby pics

Post by Martin Thoene » Tue Dec 19, 2006 10:48 am

I got these pictures this morning.

A few days old baby with an adult. The algae wafer gives some scale.

One of the previous batch that's around 6 weeks old now, sitting on an Anubias leaf beside an adult Gastromyzon scitulus.

And another 6 week old one skipping out of the way of an adult male who landed on the pebble it was on.

Lovely pics. :D Sounds like you're getting quite a population explosion in that tank! 8)

Well right now it would seem that breeding cheni is as easy as falling off a log. Or in my case falling off a light aircraft

Now I just wish there was the same gravitational reproductive pull in the Sewellia tank.

Yes. They are V. tiny, V. cute :) and are little b****rs if you have to catch them. We had to catch 3 tiny's when we moved the main tank.

The tiny's we have are growing fast thanks to Mad Duff's wonder food
