evening eveyone.

well i had a day off work yesterday so decided to use it productively and went shopping. i went along to the maidenhead aquatics shop again to have a look. the plan was just to go see what was there, it was great. they had a couple of species of hillstream loaches plus lots of other nice loaches. they even had kubotis... though they were mislabelled aas histrionicas. i mentioned thhis to the girl wporking there and to my surprise she went off and spent 10 mins trying to find someone to confirm what i was saying. to top it all off they even had Hikari sinking carnivore pellets! at last, somewhere i can buy them!

on the way home i got carried away and called in at another fish store and left with a lovely pair of S. mahnerti. they are settling i well, one has even excavated a little cave for itself.

im sure i said i few months ago that loaches dont really do it for me, and here i am, 3 different types later and already thinking of where i can set another tank and egt some hillstreams.

oh well.... feed the addiction.

Dave, the new schisturas are very nice, shame you took your camera home or i could get some pics.

that small cave has been ovehauled by one of them... very industrious.
