As promised, My Clown Loach Tank

I tried to create this last night but had all sorts of server problems going on. I couldn't even get on here in anything like a consistent way.

Great stuff! 8) I had actually been thinking of doing a similar article on my clown tank as I often get many questions asked about it, but you beat me to this! I unfortunately haven't found the spare time of late to put my ideas into action.

Actually Emma, while writing the article it occurred to me that you absolutely should write one on the whole setup and servicing regime. I think the more examples we give to people of how Clowns need to be kept as they get large or are in reasonably large groups, the better.

It gives people something to shoot for and our setups are different enough to show there's more than one way to skin a cat. Having actually seen it, I for one would love to know all the details of your aquarium.

I think two such articles (or more) would be a big future reality check for those contemplating owning Clowns.

Well I'd love to do that at some point, if you and the other mods are happy with that. :?: It might not happen immediately as I have a lot on at the moment, but it's something I can aim to do in the new year. I was also thinking that Mr. R might like to do one on setting up a Grrrr tank, to show how the more fiesty loach species should be kept properly. Of course we might need to edit or translate any Yoda phrases, heheheh!

Shari, if you're reading this, what did we decide to do with the Glossary in the end? Were we going to put the basic list on the forum to see if any regulars wanted any words added to it?

Martin- EXCELLENT setup

Regarding your filtration rig- there's a song by Motorhead called
"Overkill" you might find interesting :P hehehe.

Can we call that a New Year's resolution then Em?

Yes...I think a Grrr-tank description would be cool too.

We must get that Glossary sorted out....I think it's a great idea.

And Graeme can write his own Glossary of Graemeolgy so we can read his posts easier

Sounds like a good project to focus on!

The Grrr-Tank article will be a good Read!
