MY NEW CLOWNS

I have them tubifex, bloodworms, brine shrimp, sinking pellets...
Is there anything that someone can recommend that I haven't mentioned?
One of the clowns is bigger, and has a very great shape. The other is rather thin Quite smaller though. No signs of sinking behind gills, definite healthy appetite. Will be putting photos of them up here in this post soon

What do you have these in?

They'll need a vegetable component in their diet. You might want to order some good quality pellets as well as you likely only have Nutrafin and Tetra there.

Many people talk about feeding them cucumber. I think one of them is too little to eat it right now though

My clowns won't touch cucumber, banana, melon, or anything else "natural" that I put in there. They eat all kinds of frozen meaty foods, and hikari sinking carnivore pellets... but I have never seen one eat the hikari sinking wafers I put in. (I assume those have some kind of veggie component - they are green). Altho I put a bunch in every night and SOMETHING eats them. So it's either gotta be my clowns or yoyos.

Mine ignore cucumber and veggie with the exception of lightly poached zuchini.

They love to eat up the new shoots on my plants, however. And they passionately love digging under the roots of the (formerly) well anchored Java fern...

But primarily, they gorge and seem to enjoy the most, anything meaty.

Mine became very used to cucumber. Have you tried the seedless, "English" cucumber? I fed mine a half-inch slice every night, and every morning the core of the slice would be gone. It provoked quite loud clicking, and all of my Botias seemed to get in on the action.

So far they've gone most savage for the tubifex worms- the funniest was watching my tiny guy desperately grab a heap out of mid air, trying to chomp the impossibly huge heap up, and regretfully letting them go after a struggle. Often he'd grab it back 3 or 4 times before he accepted defeat. They've gone from active to insanely active. They're rarely not on the move. If they're not plunged into a plant or decoration, mouthing away, they're playing endlessly with each other, often out in the clear open. It's nice to watch them weave and follow after each other- sometimes so fast I'm afraid they'll bang into the tank wall! All the while clicking though, so I must be doing something right.
