Chubby they are. I have maybe been spoiling them with too many bloodworms lately.
btw do you have a recipe for gelatinized food?
The mahnerti's are now wondering who giant dude is and when is going stop bombing around the tank?
The cherry loach remains very active so far, while golden dojo just sits in the java raft watching him and me.

Gotta ask...is "Goldie" a Dojo??? Looks a little different, so I'm not sure.

Also, what's a "Cherry Loach"? I hear all the comon names, but I can't place them since there aren't many types around here

Goldie is a chinese weatherfish Misgurnus mizolepis.
Cherry loach is Acanthocobitis rubidipinnis very similar to a zipper loach.

Tonight's big change was that the true hillstream loaches were out more. Gastormyzons, Beaufortias, and Homaloptera were all out in unusual spots tonight. The Schisturas and M. pulchers were resting on rocks. Rubi was pacing, but not attacking, the other fish.

Maybe it's because I had to take all the stones and wood out of the tank and replace them in order to finally snare Erik's loach. The new set up looks different - some bare rock exposed with no algae growth. A calm seems welcome in this tank. Perhaps the Gastros will feel more at ease.

And I'm sorry Coppermine is down still. I have some older pictures of the same loach, in his youth. I'm really happy to see he's adjusting!
