That is very sad.
You know, I am only a hobbyist, I don't know that much about fish... but I don't think they do dyed and tattood fish here in Ireland. At least, I have never seen any. Also our supermarkets do not sell animals, I think you need a special liscence to sell animals here...

Pets of newhyde park (longisland newyork)
has a tank full of DYED Skunk Loaches
in blue green and red
i have shopped there for a long time
but walked out when i seen that

you should have told the manager about it too... they don't know if they've lost a customer... I plan to do it for now on... sadly, that only leaves PetSmart as my only option....
