Moving day for the clowns

Post by Wendie » Sun Jan 07, 2007 12:24 pm

Well the clowns in the Q tank just got too big and I decided moving day has finally come. Since I knew this would be a messy messy job I decided to install my new cannister filter at the same time. I yanked up three plants causing a cloudy mess of gravel, roots, etc. Somewhere in pulling up the plants, the two clowns became four large very upset fish.
Oh lord large... this means rethinking where they will go. I had planned on putting the two into another pod of 4 in another tank. Well that's out as these guys are larger than the others. I now decided that they will go in with the larger Yo Yo's and I'll move out some of the BN's to other tanks. Hopefully the move won't stress them out too much. They are really wild... of course they were wild ones to begin with.

The clowns seem to be slowly settling in. Of course, with 7 empty caves to check out the pack leader wants the cave the female Yo Yo has been living in for several weeks now. They've had several fights over the cave and when both of them were on the other side of the tank earlier, the pleco moved in.

You'll have to post some pics once they've settled in, Wendie.
