Garlic is a wonder substance.. not poisonous at all.

And when Martin mentioned gelaten, it's not Jello.. No sugar,flavoring & color in gelatin, so it's not 'sticky'.

And if you want a gelatin substitute that's more sturdy and won't melt in room temperature, you can use agar agar (seaweed)... You can buy that at the Vietnamese shop too. Agar agar is also used as a medium in petri dish cultures.

And if you get a cold, best thing to do is to chew on a raw clove of garlic. Tastes lovely and it clears your sinuses.
Plus your friends won't catch your cold because they won't want to get that close to you :wink:

Actually, I added it because I heard that garlic was being added to some fish foods as an attractant. Its medicinal qualities are a bonus too.
