New tank

The last time I posted a topic was back in January!! But, I thought Id share, that on previous decision back then to get a bigger tank for my loaches, I now have finally got one. Yey!

I have gone from a 40 litre to a 96 litre and am very happy with my choice. I have set it all up and am leaving it until june til i put any fish in it (im going away to the USA til then). This way i hope to transfer without too much hassle. The aquarium where i bought the tank from has said this is ok.

Im still a little concerned that I wouldnt be able to get too many loaches in there. I have been thinking about getting 3 kubotai but I can never find them at my local aquariums.

Any feedback gratefully received.

ooh ps will Clown loaches be too big for the 96litre??? I currently have 3 yoyo loaches some tetras, dwarf pencilfish and a pygmy cory (fostered from a friend, so unfortunately only 1, poor dude)

No idea about the rest, sorry, but I am starting a colony of pygmy cory, so I could take him in and he can live with my other cory (I have around 40 of them lol, I'm a big fan ) if you don't want him I hate seeing them alone, they are so much fun to watch in large groups

Whats the size of the 90ltr? My 4 foot is something like 140ltr, and I know clowns will outgrow that, though at the moment there are 4 small clowns in it. They take ages to grow, but will eventually top out at 12 inches, so in a standard 4 foot they wouldn't be able to turn very fast and so on.

So yes - they will fit for now - no they can't live in one forever. Mine are going to a 700ltr in a few years
