I am a bit worried now. I keep seeing bloody fins on the corys. It looks like they almost ripped out the fins on the sides of their bodies. I am wondering if these large rocks are too much for them to handle. anyone think this may be the problem?

Weird.

Your sand is fine and has no sharp edges right?

I never encountered that trouble, althogh my dojos were a lil red for all of an hour, due to something unrelated.

Does the bloody fin issue go away or is it constant

One of these pics below shows the cory with the bloody fin. its a bit blurry but that is it. i think its the big rocks. they get startled and go really fast and crash into a rock. im in need of tank construction for a weekend project.

here are some more pictures. the loaches are now officially staying outside of their homes more than ever. they even didn't swim away when i put the camera right up to them... :wink:
