Hi Graeme

I dont have a scanner, I could try and photograph them but they dont tend to come out well?

The fish is pictured or drawn in the following books:

That could be any one of many "lizard fish" type hillstreams.
I wish the pic was clearer. :(

Me too. A photo tank pic sure looks better than a fish out of water or my least favorite, the pickled fish. :x

Lol yep too difficult to id from the pics posted on the other forum. It's amazing that scientists don't realise how difficult it is to identify a dead fish correctly.

I think there is only one Annamia species described anyway. A. normani was described from Kontum, Annam, in Vietnam (hence the name Annamia).
