pleco and loaches eating together. the pleco picks up the algae wafer and tries to keep it up in the water but drops it.

believe it or not that pleco has gone from 3" to about 9" in a year and a half. the other gibby i used to have went to 14" in 7 years. thats 7 years. at this rate this guy is going to be too big by next year lol. but hopefully soon i will have the 90 gallon. i went searching this weekend to find nothing special in the tank department...

I have a clown pleco is at least 15 yrs that is 4" long.Much less bio-load and all the cleaning power. Rubbers are another specie that will stay relativly small.

Bristle-nosed also stay smaller.
