Thanks for the nice comments. I'm not sure if skill is involved when it's all done with autofocus. It's more luck. The first pics above were a 2 out of 3 success rate. The second two took more pictures to find two good ones.
I like this camera for the fact that these fish will run from the camera close to them, but tolerate it at times when 5+ inches back in the tank. Its resolution allows me to crop the pic and blow it up to full frame and retain good clarity. The Vanmanenia was nearly 10" back in the tank for instance.
Color rendition is far better on this camera than the old one. Much richer. I'm seldom adjusting saturation in the editing, whereas I nearly always did before.
