Pseudogastromyzon cheni anomoly (PICS)

Post by Martin Thoene » Fri May 25, 2007 10:30 pm

Here's a perfectly normal female P. cheni resting on some driftwood.

And here's my "Balloon" baby. He's about 3/4" long, but for the size of his head ought to be a tad over an inch really.

I've tried to get better shots, but he's very camera shy and tends to stay well back in the tank.

They're Chinese. When they start sprouting wings or bleating I'll get worried.

Sleep? What's that? :P

P.S. The balloon baby is a cutie. Do the others interact with it just the same as they would with a non-balloon baby?

Oh yes. It's a very lively guy too. Always on the go. I should have used video yesterday. He was leaf-surfing and it was bobbing up and down all over the place in the current, but he carries on grazing like there's nothing out of the ordinary going on.
