Loach rolling around

Post by thursday » Thu Jun 07, 2007 10:13 pm

I've had a couple loaches for a few years now and one of them started rolling around as he swims... has anyone seen this before? Is he sick? Should I buy some medicine? Is one of my other fish pestering him? Help!

When you say "rolling around" - which axis do you mean? Please describe the movement more detailed.

Welcome thursday and please tell us more about your tank:
Do you have any pictures? Would help alot. It's difficult to diagnose via the internet just based on short descriptions.

Any other tank info would also be appreciated. Size, temp, length of setup, water parameters, other occupants, filtration, recent disease/parasite treatment history (if any), your maintenance program and a detailed description of the behavior you're seeing along with the progression over time of the behavior if you have been observing this for several days.

Thanks. 8)
books. gotta love em!
