Loach Genome
If I was reading this correctly it appears someone has mapped the genome for at least 15 different species of loach. I was reading on another site that one of the studies has proven that the new classification system by Kottelat is incorrect in at least one case.

Most certainly NOT full genome mapping, just some minimal work on DNA.
Observe that some references are ancient, like 1991, when no genome mapping was possible. Recent work, like the Czech study or work on the weather loach in Asia, only deal with a few genes each.
It is still interesting to see these refs collected in one place, the papers may be worth digging up, but it is not going to provide much in the way of answers.
