found out what clingfish eat...

*$###****@*@&& !!!!!! CLOWN LOACHES !!!!!

There was great grumpiness and naughty language on the balcony this AM with the discovery of a severed orange/black knoggin.
The middle sized loach of the three at about 1inch and a little bit long.

I reckin if there is a chemical defence it isn't turned on until there is a preceieved threat. Middle one got it, then the others turn on the defences and stay in one piece.

Either way, but for the fare graces of my lovely wife the clingfish did not meet with the business end of my Converse.... but will find himself back in the creek this afternoon. I'm still tempted to lop him open to see if in fact he was the culprit, but i've got no other mouths large enough for such a clean cut... and this one's is barely so at best. I'm certainly not risking the little one on my theory of chemical defense.

Plecostimous attacks make for messy corpses (or none at all), no?

With great annoyance,

Andyroo

PS: that burned out cruise ship from CNN is in front of my house. It looks much scarrier in person... 1/3rd of a 1200 foot long ship.

Whoa! That's too bad and I'm sorry to hear it. :cry:

Death and destruction up close and personal is hard to take.
