That is good advice. However, stating that the fish live in the "bottom levels of the aquarium" is a bit far-fetched.They have especially developed fins to attach themselves to rocks and flat areas because they naturally inhabit very fast moving rivers and streams, so for them to survive and be happy they need very strong currents from high powered filters, plus they need massive amounts of oxygen.
