Fun moving fish

Post by Martin Thoene » Wed Sep 26, 2007 1:22 pm

Last night I caught the oddly marked Yoyo I bought weeks ago plus the Y. lecontei I was given to the 6 foot tank with the other Botiids.

Oh joy! I had to remove every rock and piece of wood from the tank but then they were actually relatively easy to catch. They spent half an hour floating in a bag because the big tank is a lot warmer then I let them go.

The Yoyo has adopted the kubotai as its chosen buddies and the lecontei just seems to be revelling in all the company. Seemingly unperturbed by the fact there's nobody of his kind present.

Now the 45 has just Cherry barbs in it but my LFS should (pray) have some interesting fish in this Friday. Hopefully, supposed 12cm kuhlis....must be P. myersi :D

Have you gotten any pics of your lecontei? Hint, hint...
Your vantage point determines what you can see.
