Battle time?

Post by MaryJ » Sat Oct 06, 2007 7:37 am

Ok I was sitting at breakfast this morning and heard alot of what sounded like big rocks hitting together. When I realized it was comming from my Loach tank I was puzzled ( there are no rock in it ). Suddenly I saw 2 of the 5" Clown slapping tails. The sound was very loud thru the room. I have never seen this is the 6 or so years i`ve had my Clowns.
Yesterday I had addded 5 Discus to their tank and the heat was cranked up a bit more. It seems since I removed the skiddish Brochis everyone in the tank seems braver. The tetras don`t even sppk now and the Clowns are out day and night. :D
Ahhhhh my tank is sooooooooo pretty to look at now with my 2 favorite fish in one tank.

The noise is probably one of their click repetoire. I've noticed that when two of mine are fighting the noises they make are different to normal feeding clicks.

What temp are you up to now? Mine live at 82F

Martin.
