I know I'm encroaching on our resident illustrator here but I made a clown loach T-shirt for the kids to vote on @

yeah, I'm getting pro and con comments about the squigglies.
Old 19th century animal illustrations basically inspired this so the squigglies helped with that. And it helped the the vertical design too. The design was too horizontal without it.. And thanks for the anatomical comments. I know I'm not 100% correct from looking at multiple pictures off the web and here.

I agree with Emma's comment on eye position. The "squiggles" idea is actually quite nice but they look sort of like some frog with wings or something. Look for another style of symmetrical striping.
