Surfing Schistura balteata

Post by Emma Turner » Thu Oct 11, 2007 5:35 pm

A few days ago, following a large water change on the river tank, my last remaining Schistura balteata was out enjoying the flow. The tank receives several small water changes per week, but this was a larger than normal slightly cooler change, which always seems to excite this fish:

I was amazed at how long this aging fish continued to play in the flow, and was also able to catch it on video (please turn sound down):

Clowns-6 is a group and more is never too many, providing the aquarium is large enough.
