

This is scarface... as you can see near it's tail base the black line does nog run totaly from top to bottom.
Most of it's scares are on the on its other side. It went through a water hose right into my backyard and it must have been there in the sun for well over 15 minutes. when i found the fish it was very stiff but it moved a bit... it's spines were out and could not put them back in i guess. since it had it out for at least 2 hours.
at first he or she did not swim but after pushing it like a boat in the water the movement came back and at last it swam on it's on a bit.
The first 2 days it would not eat at all.. but after six weeks of special care and being alone in a "hospital tank" with daily small water changes it was bigger as his brothers and sisters.
It still has soms darker and lighter spots on one side. the wound was about 2/3 of it's body it looked like a giant burn mark. but it went away very slowely over the weeks.
i was lucky the fish did not got any complications like fungus of white dots or other things... i did not even add any medications...
on his head (above his eye) it's still a bit red but it's not very clear on the picture
