Got the new tank today, LFS made a house call and brought it over. It seems alot bigger than when measuring it. On Monday I´ll start getting the other "components", but going to go after this plan.

Here you can see my assistant checking that everything is ok. (as writing this I heard *thud* and she was upside-down in the tank, a little bit too curious

)

I'm so excited, and I just can't hide it

Today I had a major idea that actually worked

I've been having problems how to make the spray bar so its hidden and the simplest/cheapest solution just hit me today, not literally. ROCK'S!! So on my way to work I picked up a suitable rock put in on the back of my bike and later tried drilling it. I made one big hole and 3 small ones and it didn't crack, sweet. Will post pics later. My co-workers are starting to think I'm little insane drilling rock etc...

Also wondering if it would be possible to keep Yasuhikotakia sidthimunki in the same tank as Gastromyzon and Sewellia. Temp should be 25degrees Celsius in new setup. And don't think the torrent will be too great in the whole tank. Don't have any experience of any Botias. The reason for these are (other that they are loaches

) snails which are infesting the tank.

Now it is finished after lots of hard work. Had to take the day of from work to get it done. Heres the result:

The huge rock in the middle is actually man-made and hollow, great cave. The fish seem to like it, I'm not sure about myself yet. After releasing in the new tank the game "this is my rock, get lost!" started. The idea with the small waterfall is that they can climb it, if they figure it out. There is a net at the end so they wont fall out. Here a link to some pics of the project itself. Don't have much more to say at the moment, think I'll just go sit in front of the tank. Will post more pics after the water has cleared up.

The wall worked.

The fish are allready in it, used all things from old tank so no need to cycle.

Amazing!!

I figured it wouldn't take them long to attempt the water fall.
If our tanks didn't have lips on them, I would expect to find them on the floor. I also suspect this is how they colonize the headwaters of streams by moving upstream over barriers that other fish can't.
