I've got 13 CLs, 3 Botia kubotai, 20 Tiger Barbs, 12 Danio kyathit, and around a dozen Corydoras aneus in a 125 to 130 ish (can't remember the exact capacity).

Stocking will depend on filtration capacity, water movement, etc., plus maintenance schedules. Mine has 2 Rena Filstars, one returning through a Magnum 350 filter housing (no impeller) that acts as extra biological filtration capacity), an Aquaclear 500 HOB, plus one of my River-Tank manifolds powered by 2 small powerheads, and an additional powerhead for some extra movement.

Martin.

thanks for all of your help

i'm planning on two eheim 2217s and i have an obsession with bubbles, i know that they're not "natural" along with the two filters... there are two 125gallon 4 out-put air pumps... don't ask two of my clowns "bathe" in them...
many tanks...

i agree, it depends partly on filtration. i run a wetdry that can handle about 3 times the size of my tank so im good for now. but the thing is that your fish might not grow as fast cause they wont max out the tank. they wont grow too much so they stay small. this is what im told is this true?
