Well thanks for all your nice comments :D

Ded1: Only the first pic. is from 2005, the other 2 is only about 1 month old. It's the same fat/big/most hungry/dominating fish in front of the pic. from 2005 as with the little newcommmer.
The tank is 530 l with 7 clowns 4 big Synodontis eupterus and diff. Loricarid's (Panaque spp, Peckoltia spp, Pseudacanthicus sp.). A bit crowded on the bottom but so far no real problems :)

Tinman: I haven't meassured the pH for a while but i guess it's somewhere between 7 and 8, the water in most part of denmark is so hard that you nearly have to wear a helmet when taking a shower :D so there are a lot of buffer capacity. I don't really think the wood can lower the pH actually. Can be a problem when you want to breed softwater sp's.
