Comments on Sticky Note: Dealing with Ich

Post by peterinwa » Sat Nov 03, 2007 4:50 pm

Hi Mark,

You can delete this after you read it.

I used to be very active in these forums and during that time I had horrible problems with ich. It was tough to fight because of having loaches and live plants.

As I delved into it, I started writing notes. I posted them on my website caloriesperhour.com just for a place to park them for others to see.

I'd pretty much forgotten all about this till I sold the site a couple months ago and started to get e-mails asking where my ich notes had gone! So I just parked them on another site of mine.

Would you please correct the link in the sticky note on ich from:

http://www.caloriesperhour.com/fish/notes_ich.html#temp

to the new address:

http://www.WastedGas.com/ich.html

Your notes are a little different than mine in that you give more specific instructions in how to treat loaches for ich. Mine are more of a general tutorial on ich.

Still, since you have your own notes, I wouldn't have even mentioned mine. But I would like you to update the link in mikev's post.

I'm a little selfish in my use of forums. I go to them when I need something, then go away till I need them again.

At least I wrote my ich notes with the idea of helping other. :D

Thanks for a great forum,

Peter

Hey Peter.

No need to delete this, IMO. Opinions and techniques vary. The only reason that got added as a sticky was we were overwhelmed with the same question from lots of new aquarists.

Both sets of notes are extremely useful IMO.
