Can't get a pic at the moment, but it looks like one of the rostrata's i rehomed is markedly gravid. At least, when i can see her, she's got a nice little flat tire growing and compared to the other fish, she's a fat thing.
Anyone else who keeps rostrata's seen theirs getting gravid?
She's with 4 others, two of which are larger, golder and with different markings, 1 which looks just like she does, but is slimmer and longer.

The camera has gone missing. 
It will be found. Eventually.
However, I'd like your opinions. I'll do my best to describe what I've been seeing and you can tell me what you think it is.
This is all 5 of them. Not a great pic, but you can get the idea. Day after I got them, December 14th.
I think the female I'm talking about is the center one. However, it could be slim grey one at the top of the group. I never see them all at once.
Did a waterchange/minor tank cleaning this morning, fed the fish and sat and watched for a while. At one point, when the food was nearly gone, one of the other fish (a male, I'm assuming) slipped up behind her and laying at a 45 degree angle, with his belly aimed at hers, shimmied his ventral area against her vent. Not the usual slapping motion that you'll see when they are arguing, but a very fast shimmy that involved the back half's of both fish, no head movement. She only tolerated this for a few seconds and shot off to the back of the tank with the male in hot pursuit. He tried to approach her again at the back of the tank and she shot out to the front. At that point the SAE got annoyed and started to push all the rostrata's around, as they were eating the few pellets left in his space.
I didn't see it again after that. She is relatively shy and prefers to hang out in the back corner under the giant anubias roots. Once the SAE got pushy the rostrata's spent a lot of time flying around the tank to get away from him. He was quite persistent, but with 5 of them, it was a losing battle.
The female has changed considerably since that picture above. Her belly is filled out substantially, and she will frequently lay on her stomach and arch her back to raise her tail, resting on the front of the abdomen rather than laying flat . She's also developed a marked golden sheen that I had not noticed before. She was rather drab colored compared to the others originally.
She is quite small, only about 6-7cm with the male now at about 7-8cm or so. Hard to measure as they don't stay still, at least when I'm looking.
Very annoyed that I can't locate the camera.
Meanwhile, here's a shot taken with my daughter's camera that we are sending back to get fixed. No, you don't need glasses, the focus -- well, it doesn't.
It may be that she's simply gaining weight. Even if it is possible that she's gravid nothing will likely come of it, but I always get hopeful when I see the ladies getting broody.
