Zipper Loach

Post by starsplitter7 » Thu Mar 13, 2008 5:44 pm

My LFS has Zipper loaches which are about 1.5-2". I am not sure what they are, but they do look like Acanthocobitis botia with the cool markings. I noticed on the species profile, there's no info on its personality. Is it aggressive? They had another one in a tank, which was much bigger and filled out -- maybe 3 " - 4" long and chunky. But this fish had no markings -- the body was silver gray with maybe a hint of red on its tail. Is that possible for an adult Zipper Loach -- it had the right body shape? It looked really nice, although a bit dull.

Thanks, Tanja.
