Choosing new Clowns (Blacked out eyes)

Post by NDininno » Sun Jun 08, 2008 2:57 pm

I was at the LPS a few days this week bs'ing with a friend of mine that works there. (Very knowledgeable in the ways of our aquatic friends) They just got a shipment of about 9 clowns, but 3 of them have both of their eyes completely blacked out. It looks like one big pupil. These three also seem to be a bit on the skinny side. What does this mean? I want to introduce a few new clowns to my tank but I don't want to bring in disease. Any thoughts?

Quarantine the fish for a few months and treat them for external and internal parasites.
