Storing Food

For some reason my dojos are storing some of their food in a hole under a rock. Am I feeding them too much or what? I have a boy and a girl could it be a nest or somthing like that?

I have not heard of fish storing food. Probably drifting there while they are busy eating something else.
Yes, uneaten food suggests overfeeding.
