JPC and ammonia remover

Post by rabidweasel09 » Mon Aug 10, 2009 1:07 am

I'm planing to dose my 10 gal with jungle parasite clear ( One of my dojo loaches has come down with skinny disease so to be safe I'm giving everyone some meds). It says to remove the carbon filter and I have done that, but i also use an ammonia remover as well. Should I also remove that?

If the tank is well established and has proper filtration, then it shouldn't need an ammonia remover. Is the tank new or not cycled? Do you have enough filters?
