Tiny skunks added to my clown tank

Post by zappa151 » Fri Aug 21, 2009 1:11 pm

I just bought a pair of baby Skunks to live with my 5 Clowns. (5-8") I have a 46 gallon tank. I feel like this is plenty of room. I know these Skunks have a bad rep, but I feel they'll always be smaller than my clowns so it shouldn't be an issue. Am I wrong in thinking this? A few years down the road I guess will tell. I can always rehome them later if needed.

Zappa,
I reckon the forum will not question the skunks, but the clowns. 46 gallons is kinda small for 5 mature clown loaches- they may be stunted already.
If/when re-homing happens (sooner rather then later) don't move the skunks, they're fine- get a nice, mammoth wall-tank and move the clowns. Sounds like you've got a nice collection.
